Industrial Action
Tuesday 19 September
As part of a national dispute affecting all colleges in Scotland, EIS-FELA, Unison and Unite trade unions will take strike action on Tuesday 19 September.
All campuses will remain open, but you should only expect to attend classes if directly informed by your lecturer. Campuses will be closed on the evening of 19 September. You should assume that your evening class will not take place, though your tutor will advise you directly if your class will take place online.

The Ayrshire College Student Association has welcomed new and returning students to college life by holding a series of Freshers’ events last week.
The shortlist is out for the College Development Network’s (CDN) College Awards 2023 – and Ayrshire College has received an impressive four nominations.
Ten new joinery apprentices have joined James Frew Ltd in Stevenston and are now among the first apprentices to learn their trade at Ayrshire College’s new Willie Mackie Skills Hub.
