Entry Requirements
For this course you'll need:
- a hairdressing and/or barbering qualification at SCQF Level 5
- previous salon experience
- a genuine interest in the art of barbering
- to complete an application, including a personal statement.
Course Content
This course explores the world of barbering, enhancing your creativity, practical skills and technical knowledge. You'll receive hands on training in one of our campus commercial salons, where you'll work with real clients and master the art of barber cutting and styling. The barbering industry evolves rapidly, and our goal is to equip you with the latest skills and knowledge for a successful career, however as it's such a fast-changing industry, some of what you study on the course may change.
