Overview
This one day course aims to help plumbers and heating engineers who want to install vented and unvented domestic hot water storage systems to comply with the appropriate building regulations and standards.
Entry Requirements
This course requires a minimum of 4 participants to run. If this number isn't reached then you will be contacted to offer you the next available date.
Candidates must hold a recognised trade qualification (e.g. NVQ/SNVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing and Heating or Domestic Heating) OR be working towards one OR have evidence of several years’ experience in the plumbing or heating industry.
*Candidates are required to bring with them two passport photographs.
Training and Certification

The course consists of training related to the installation and maintenance of domestic hot water storage systems followed by practical and theoretical assessments. Candidates must successfully pass all the assessments to achieve the BPEC domestic hot water storage systems (unvented) qualification.

This course can be provided at both Ayr Campus and the Kilwinning Campus.
