You'll need at least one relevant Higher, preferably in English, Maths, or a science subject. Alternatively, a relevant NC course at SCQF Level 6 or a Foundation Apprenticeship in Civil Engineering will do. Don't have formal qualifications? We will also consider relevant experience or training.

Explore architectural design sketching, BIM processes, and advanced CAD usage. Explore construction technology, structural design, and common building services. Engage in practical tasks, from material testing to levelling surveys. Benefit from real-world applications and industry insights, including work placements and site visits.

Once you’ve completed the course, you may have the opportunity to:

• progress to an HND in Architectural Technology
• pursue a BSc in Architectural Technology at Napier University or BSc in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or Building Surveying at Glasgow Caledonian University (direct entry to year 2, Grade B in Graded Unit required)
• start your career as an Architectural Technician
