• A genuine interest in computing
• Four National 5s (including Computing Science or Maths)

OR

• NQ at Level 5 in a computing-related subject

If you don't have formal qualifications but have life experience, then we'll also consider you for a place, so please do apply.

Take the next step in computing with our Level 6 course. Here's what you may explore:

• develop skills in hardware, software, and applications
• servers and animation: including a National Progression Award in Software Development
• computer systems' functional elements: learning to install and configure operating systems
• develop your understanding of software development, computer architecture, and coding
• design and create your own applications: master web development with HTML and CSS, and venture into 2D animation
• gain cyber security basics: identifying vulnerabilities safely and ethically

Once you’ve finished the course, you may choose to:

• move on to HNC Computing with specialisations in Computing Science or Technical Support and networking
• explore a Modern Apprenticeship in technical support

Gain hands-on experience in hardware, software, and applications. Develop advanced skills in coding, web development, and cyber security.
