• Criminology: Understand the 'why' behind the crime.
• social issues: Get to grips with what's affecting our communities and explore elements of equality and diversity.
• communication: Learn how to negotiate and defuse situations.
• ICT: Master the tech you'll need on the job.
• personal fitness: maintain a level of fitness and why personal fitness is important, to aid entry examination

Upon completion of Police Studies 2 to apply for the Police or progress to HNC Social Science or onto another HNC programme.
