In just one year, you can grow the skills that employers are looking for in plumbing, heating, and ventilating. Discover a hands-on, safety-focused Pre-Apprenticeship that helps start your employment or further study opportunities in the Scottish Building Services Engineering sector.

• Three National 4s or relevant Standard Grades, with a preference for Maths and a technical subject
• Alternatively, a relevant NC course at SCQF Level 4 or equivalent
• Successful completion of the Pre-apprenticeship in Plumbing at SCQF Level 4
• An interview and/or practical entry test

• Install and connect heating emitters
• Practical craft project

Plus, build transferable essential skills in communication, numeracy, ICT, teamwork and problem solving.

Once you have finished the course, many paths are available for you within the plumbing, electrical, and construction sectors. You may have the opportunity to progress to apprenticeships or entry level jobs, further studies, or there’s a possibility for career advancement.
