Entry Requirements
For entry to this course, you’ll need:
- Passion for the Industry
- Four National 5s (or SCQF Level 5 equivalent)
- Age 16+ (or relevant life experience- note for some progression courses age requirements is 18 + however will speak to you about this as applicable)
Course Content
This course is theory based with some practical skin analysis
Here is some of what you may study;
- Monitor and maintain health and safety in the salon
- Client care and communication in beauty related industries
- Provide skin analysis and assessment
- Beauty therapy science
- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology for skin treatments and/or beauty and spa
