Entry Requirements
For this course you’ll need:
- three National 4 qualifications or equivalent (preferably in English and Maths, with one other relevant subject such as Physics, Practical Metalworking or Practical Woodworking) or a relevant course at SCQF Level 4 or equivalent
- an interview with us

Course Content
This practical and comprehensive course includes:
- hand fitting techniques for component production
- mechanical assembly processes
- working with composites and producing composite mouldings
- aircraft detail fitting activities and assembly production
- installation of various aircraft mechanical fasteners
- essential, transferable skills for employment

- start your career in aeronautical engineering as a Sheet Metal Worker or a Modern Apprentice
