Ayrshire College partners with other colleges and UWS on equality conversations
Ayrshire College has teamed up with Borders College, Dumfries and Galloway College and the University of the West of Scotland (UWS) for a series of online events discussing equality, inclusion and wellbeing related matters.
The ‘Conversation to Change’ series is aimed at college staff, with the first event taking place online from 12:30pm-1:30pm on Wednesday 30 March 2022.
Nil By Mouth’s Campaign Director Dave Scott is hosting the first event, leading a conversation on challenging bigotry and encouraging cultural change to promote inclusion.
Sara Turkington, Equality & Inclusion Advisor at Ayrshire College, said: “I am really pleased to be working with my college and UWS colleagues in this way. We are all incredibly committed to equality and inclusion and feel that Conversation to Change gives us an excellent opportunity to engage staff, and potentially students in the future, in discussions related to equality and through this, invoke change.”
