Secure a place at Ayrshire College’s Clearing Day
Ayrshire College is holding clearing day events, to help school leavers and those looking to upskill an opportunity to come along to college and apply for a course.
The College is inviting people to drop into its Ayr, Kilmarnock and Kilwinning campuses between 10am and 2pm on Thursday 11 August to find out what is the best choice for them going forward.
Everyone who attends the College’s clearing event and applies for a course will get a decision on the day about the course they wish to do.
Clearing days are designed to fill up any remaining spaces on courses starting at Ayrshire College in late August. School pupils who have just received their exam results are encouraged to come in and discuss their options, as well as anyone thinking about making a return to education. The event lets people know that it’s not too late to apply for a full-time course starting in August.
Curriculum staff will be available allowing visitors to ask questions about the courses and career options available to them. Funding and Student Services teams will also be on hand to offer guidance.
